German-born Deva Premal met her partner Miten, an Englishman, in an ashram in India, and they fell in love. Together they married music and spiritual quests and tour the world performing and offering workshops. Miten plays acoustic guitar and melds moving vocals with Premal, also on tanpura and keyboards.
